Modelling the environmental impact of building-integrated photovoltaic power plants in relation to new loads such as electric cars.

Abstract

The aim is to model energy exchanges between photovoltaic production facilities, the electricity grid and loads (electric cars, heat pumps for heating and domestic hot water), by developing management algorithms to optimize energy flows.

In a second phase, an extrapolation will be carried out on a national scale to better understand the impact of decentralized PV in relation to buildings. In this way, it is planned to aggregate electricity flows on a regional and national scale in order to dynamically assess the associated environmental impacts over the coming years.

This work is associated with the LCA Tase national research project (https://anr.fr/ProjetIA-22-PETA-0010).
