The INSTN’s Grenoble training site is located in building V (NanoSecurity Platform) close to entrance 1 of the CEA’s Grenoble Center.

How to get to Grenoble

Coming from Lyon (via the A48) or Valence (via the A49)

Follow the signs to Grenoble.
Continue following the A48 towards Grenoble / Bastille / Gare.
Take exit 16 marked Grenoble / Gares / Europole / Polygone scientifique.

Coming from Nice/Gap (via the N85) or Sisteron (via the N75)

Follow the signs to Grenoble. Take the A480 towards Lyon / Grenoble-Centre:

• Cars: exit 2 Europole / Fontaine centre / Grenoble Gare, then rue des Martyrs,
• Trucks: exit 1 Sassenage / Polygone scientifique. After the roundabout, turn right on the rue des Martyrs.

Coming from Chambéry

Follow the A41 towards Grenoble.
Take the exit marked Rocade Sud / Gières / Toutes directions, then follow the signs to Lyon to reach the A480. Then follow the Nice / Gap route.

Coming from Grenoble railway station

• Tramway B towards Presqu’île - CEA-Cambridge stop - 2 min trip.
• Express Bus-1 towards Voiron - CEA-Cambridge stop - every 15 min.
• Taxi.
• On foot: leave the railway station on the Europole side, follow avenue du Doyen L. Weill, then rue des Martyrs (15 min).

Access badge formalities for non-CEA people

·       Pedestrians

Obtain the CEA access badge at the entrance 1 reception (show a valid national identity card or passport). Building V is 5 min on foot.

·       Vehicles

Access via CEA entrance 1 (17 rue des Martyrs) showing your valid national identity card or passport. Car park close by.

Access conditions for people carrying a CEA badge

·       Pedestrians

Access and exit via entrance 1 (17 rue des Martyrs) or via the ’Minatec’ turnstile entrance (7h00 am-8h00 pm).

·       Vehicles

Access and exit via entrance 1 or entrance 4 of the center (7h00 am-8h00 pm).
