INSTN’s Cadarache training site is located in the CEA center, 40 km north of Aix-en-Provence, along the A51 motorway, exit 17 "Saint-Paul-lez-Durance / CEA Cadarache".
When you reach the roundabout facing the entry to the Cadarache center, take the "Vinon” turning (D952). Three kilometers further on, turn left at the "INSTN" signpost; INSTN is 200 meters from the "Château de Cadarache".

Personal vehicle
Coming from Lyon (by the motorway)
Take the A7 towards "Marseille", then the A8 towards "Nice / Toulon". Exit 29 "Aix Ouest". Take the A51 towards “Sisteron”. Exit 17.
Coming from Lyon, leaving the motorway after Avignon
Leave the A7 at "Sénas". Take the N7 towards "Aix-en-Provence". About 500 meters after "Pont Royal", follow the D561 towards "Meyrargues". Take the A51 at "Pertuis" towards "Sisteron / Manosque". Exit 17.
Coming from Grenoble
Follow the N75 as far as "Sisteron". Exit and take the A51 towards "Aix-en-Provence". Exit 17.
Coming from Marseille
Take the A7 towards "Aix-en-Provence". Continue on the A51 towards "Aix-en- Provence / Sisteron". Take the N296 towards "Avignon / Lyon / Sisteron / Gap". Rejoin the A51 towards “Gap”. Exit 17.
From the Aix-l’Arbois TGV station
Take D9 towards "Aix-en-Provence / Les Milles". Continue on the A51 towards "Aix-en- Provence / Sisteron". Then follow the indications from Marseille
Coaches for CEA personnel
32 free-of-charge regular coach lines providing transportation for CEA personnel serve most of the districts in the region. The personnel is dropped off at 8 am at the bus station in the center, from where shuttles take them to INSTN (10-minute journey). The timetables and routes of these coaches are obtainable from the teaching assistants or the continuing professional development organizers.
